I'm a big Dario Argento fan particularly of his output starting with "Bird with a Crystal Plumage" up through the ferocious 1987 film "Opera". Un film unique comme tous les chez d'œuvres qu'il a réaliser avant de perdre cette étincelle qui ne retrouveras que sur "Le Syndrom de Stendhal". Ici on peut retrouver la même folie qui caractérisent notre Dario sur des films comme "Inferno", sauf qu'ici on se retrouve sur des extérieurs plutôt que sur du huis clos, et des couleurs ternes mais réussie au niveau contraste entre décors claire et sujet un peu fou sur le papier mais drôlement efficace a l'écran. Je pense que ce film reste une œuvre majeure dans sa filmographie, même si on peut dire au revoir au couleurs baroque utiliser a outrances dans "Suspiria" mais pour un partie artistique plus que réussie. Pour ceux qui aime son cinéma des année 70 mais qui as eu du mal avec celui des année 80 (et celui d'après) comme ce fut le cas de beaucoup après la sortit de "Phenomena", qui se voulait volontairement différent de "Ténèbres". Qu'on aime ou pas son cinéma, on est obligé de reconnaitre qu'il fait preuve d'audace et de maitrise dans ces films.
